Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026 · Decision Continuum LLC
The short version: we never receive the financial plan inputs you enter — calculations run locally in your browser, and there are no accounts and no server-side plan storage. The narrow exceptions are things you choose to send (backup files you export, share links you create, support or newsletter email) and standard connection metadata our hosting provider processes to operate and secure the site. Each is described below.

What we collect: essentially nothing

What necessarily exists because the site is on the internet

Things under your control

Optional Email (Newsletter and Support)

Two strictly optional ways to share an email address exist, and neither touches your plan data:

Children's Privacy

Lifetime Tax Planner is not directed to children under 18, and Decision Continuum LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. User-entered planning information is processed locally in your browser and is not transmitted to or stored by us — the planner receives no plan inputs from anyone, of any age. The Terms of Service limit independent use to adults who are at least 18; an adult may enter information concerning a minor dependent when authorized to do so. If we learn that a child has provided personal information to us through a support, newsletter, or other communication channel, we will delete it as soon as reasonably practicable.

Changes

If our practices ever change — for example, if optional accounts are introduced — this policy will be updated first, with the date above revised, and any new data practice will be opt-in and described plainly.

Share Links — Cautions

The share and transfer features encode your plan inside the link itself. Understand what that means before using them:

Share links only through channels you trust, and delete transfer messages after use.
