What this tool is

Lifetime Tax Planner is software that runs mathematical projections from numbers you enter, using published tax rules and documented assumptions. Its outputs — including projections, scores, comparisons, "recommendations," and "action plans" — are computed illustrations of how those rules interact with your inputs under the model's assumptions. They are educational in nature and are labeled as recommendations only in the software sense: outputs of a documented algorithm, not advice from a professional.

What this tool is not

• Not tax advice. The tool is not a substitute for a CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney. Tax outcomes depend on facts the model does not and cannot know.
• Not investment advice. No output is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset. Decision Continuum LLC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or insurance producer.
• Not legal or estate advice.
• Not a client relationship. Using this tool creates no professional, fiduciary, advisory, or confidential relationship of any kind.

About the numbers

• Projections are hypothetical. They depend entirely on your inputs and the model's documented assumptions, and actual results will differ — possibly materially.
• Tax law changes. The model is seeded from a specific year's law (stated in the app) and simplifies many provisions; the app's "Why Trust This" and Audit sections document what is modeled, what is simplified, and what is not modeled at all.
• Monte Carlo and stress-test results are statistical illustrations, not predictions or guarantees.
